Book
black voidcore
New Home · 1 August 2026
black voidcore is an ongoing collection of essays, notes, poems and fragments exploring the political, aesthetic and psychological conditions of the twenty-first century. Written from the edge of music, philosophy, design and technology, it examines how people construct meaning within systems of surveillance, algorithmic culture, ecological collapse and information overload. Rather than offering solutions, black voidcore develops a language for navigating uncertainty. It treats sound as architecture, design as politics and culture as an operating system. Across its pages, recurring ideas such as signal and noise, structuralism, cybernetics, feedback, ritual, refusal and collective imagination become tools for understanding contemporary life. Influenced by experimental music, critical theory and speculative design, black voidcore moves between manifesto, diary, criticism and fiction. It is less a conventional book than a growing field of interconnected texts, where each essay contributes to a wider cartography of culture. Published through the asym library, it exists as part of a permanent archive of authored works: music, books, poems and audiovisual research designed to be collected, revisited and built upon over time.
